Street Food Tour
Visitors to Vietnam and Nha Trang, are often amazed at the endless trail of Street Food Vendors, that appear to set up on every corner of every street, selling everything from a simple Bread Roll (Banh Mi) to the late night delicacy, the duck embryo. For most, the same question applies, “I really want to try it, but is it safe?”
Well, with a combination of our restaurant experience and understanding the importance of hygiene for a visitor to Vietnam, we have put together a Lanterns Street Food tour that will give everyone a chance to not only sample some local Vietnamese street food but also some Nha Trang specialities.
The purpose of our tours are to give visitors a safe opportunity to try the dishes of the local Nha Trang people. We ensure the food is handled hygienically and provide a comfortable area for the tastings, but understand these are street food tours, not a restaurant tour, so comfort will not be the main fo-cus. Many of the street vendors have been here for over 10 years, so their reputation amongst the lo-cals goes without saying and it is really a place where our own staff enjoying going for a meal.
As with our Ninh Hoa tour, it has been put together by our staff, who will also be the one’s taking you around to show you some of their favourite eateries. We will take you to the most popular street stalls and hidden alleyways around Nha Trang and all proceeds go to the staff as way for them to take grow in their role and be involved in their own little business whilst here at Lanterns.
Our tour focuses on street food that is not so common; dishes you may have never heard of outside of Nha Trang or Vietnam, so no Pho or Banh Mi. We also won’t make you to eat anything unusual or weird, unless you specifically ask!
The tour is not just a gastronomic delight, but a great way to see parts of the city that the majority of tourists don’t get to see! More specific details about the tour can be found on the back of this flyer and if you are interested to join this or any of tours please ask our staff for any information. They will be more than happy to help and may even be the ones who will be coming along with you. The tour is for a minimum of 2 people and costs 250,000 VND per person. It will also be held on any days the minimum requirement is met.
